Big girl!

Our sweet Molly Jo is potty trained, she has been for about 2 weeks now. Its so nice and lovely to not have to clean up poop.. litearally! I am enjoying our new found diaperless/pullup freedom!

That's the newest pic I have of her, its not the best in the world she was eating a cookie and got it all over her shirt but oh well!!

Baseball starts tomorrow. We start practicing. I'm glad the weather is suppossed to be nice and pleasant outside!! Yall have a good weekend!

Where we have been!

So it looks like October was the last time I updated so lets start with November. We finished football and Tyler and the neighborhood boys still havent stopped playing in our front yard yet! They really like it and Tyler is already ready for next year. Although baseball season is starting in February and Shannon and him are already out there practicing that too! We went to St. Louis for Thanksgiving and had a good time with Shannon's family. We got to stay for 4 days which is a long time for us its usually just a quick 2 day trip. His family besides his mom really only see our children at Thanksgiving so of course they change so much to them in a year. We got lucky and it snowed the last day we were there. We had already loaded the car up to head home and the snow started falling so we stayed for a little bit longer and let the kids play in it. They ended up getting about 12 inches but we didnt stay that long. This is when it had first started. I had no snow clothes for the kids but it wasnt really wet snow like it is when it snows here it was dryer... does that makes sense??? anyway Molly and McKenzie liked getting it off the car and throwing it at us more than anything. Tyler was loving it and thought it was hilarious to try and put it on my head.

Shannon turned the big 30 the first part of December and I threw him a little surprise birthday party. His mom and brother came down and we had some friends and my family over and he was completely surprised.
Then we had Christmas. A wonderful Christmas I was off for 5 days in a row and spent every second with my family. I loved being with my kids and Shannon, we stayed up late and slept in and didnt leave our house except to go to my mom's house all 5 days. It was not crazy busy not hectic just fun quality time. And also if you didn't get a Christmas Card from me this year and you usually do I apologize. I only ordered 12 for some reason I guess I clicked the wrong box when I was ordering anyway I had to send to family first. I will for sure get them out this year though!! Thanks to everyone that sent us one without getting one in return. We loved them and had them all displayed!

These are the presents that everybody wanted to open, if you had a rock in your gift you knew you had money!! Molly liked the rock more than the money.

Slacking!

Fun Weekend

We had a fun little weekend this past weekend. I babysat my 2 neices and nephew on Friday night. Tyler went to a campout birthday party so he wasn't there so I only had 5 kids to tend to. No biggie! : ) Shannon played Monopoly with Caitlyn and Chandler and Caitlyn won, Chandler came in 2nd and Shannon was the biggest loser!! HAHA I just had to throw that in there! We are very very competitive in the Murphy household.

The other 3, McKenzie, Molly Jo, and Caralyne did a good job of playing together and making a royal mess in both McKenzie and Molly Jo's room, dumping every toy they owned out of their toy boxes and onto the floor. Oh well they had fun!! My girls have wild wild hair after their bath so don't say I didnt forewarn you. And Caralyne and McKenzie both insisted to wear their flannel dora pajamas so they could match. Molly Jo is sporting and old shirt of Tylers.

Then we had football Saturday, Tyler did good, there was this one kid on the other time who we think had to be 15 he was as tall as the referees and coaches, glad he wasnt put up against my kid!! I didnt get a picture of him but I promise he was 3 feet taller than the other players.

Then we had Chandlers b-day party Saturday night at the bowling alley. It was a lot of fun for everybody. Tyler and Chandler are best buds!

Jamming!!

Since we've moved in our new house we have been going through boxes upon boxes of stuff that I have collected over the years. I had a huge box of stuff that I had in middle school and high school and in that box I found a bunch of old CD's... I have been jamming to many old school stuff and it has brought back many memories.. this one CD BoyzIIMen. haha remember them??

Anyway I was telling Angie about me finding it and she immediately said are you still listening to number 9 and 10!! haha me and her used to listen to those 2 songs over and over and over again.

But one Christmas we were driving to my grandparents who live about 3 hours away and I was riding in the truck with my dad and my mom and brother were in my mom's car. We had to take 2 vehicles because we were getting bikes that year and they had to have a way to get them back to our house with all the other presents so anyway we took 2 vehicles.. Well my dad's truck was such a clunker and it had no heat, no radio no nothing but I didnt care I wanted to ride with my daddy. I had a CD walkman type thing that I brought with me and my sweet daddy listened to me sing that CD the whole thing over and over again even though he couldn't hear the music, he just listened to me belt it out. He had learned the song by the time we had made it to my grandparents he said he hoped Santa Claus brought me a new CD so we could listen to something else on the way home!! Ah good times!!!

Update!

So after several requests I decided I should update you on our exciting life. HAHA We stay busy, but with 3 children I guess thats to be expected and it will only get more hectic. We have dance on Monday for McKenzie and we have football on Tuesday and Thursday for Tyler and church on Wednesday and Sunday and football games on Saturday. So the only "free" time we have is on Friday nights, and im also in school full time along with working full time so I really don't have time to think but Im happy and I am still smiling!!

We got this little motorcycle at a garage sale at one of the houses in our neighborhood the girls love it and call it their harley day its funny to watch them, McKenzie is a little skidish of it but Molly has no fear and its quite funny watching me or Shannon run beside it to help her steer otherwise Molly would run into the house/car/street anything in her path.

Happy Birthday to:

MOLLY JO!! My sweet baby turned 2 on Saturday !! Tyler had a baseball tournament all day that day and yes we played in the rain all day!!! We had her party on Sunday it was supposed to be a swimming party but it rained again so it was just at our house! She had her little friends over and we all had a great time! We let her open her presents from us on Saturday night she is so precious and gets so excited I love it!!

DRAMA

Well last night Tyler had to go get his pads and helmet for football and Shannon is out of town this week so good ole mom gets to go by herself in the rain and the mud! Not a big deal I was excited for him because he was so excited. Well there is about 200 people (no lie) in the field house to get their stuff too. Like I said its raining and humid and no air conditioning the boys are running everywhere cause they are excited and well just being boys. We had already gotten his helmet and pads we were just waiting on our coach to talk to us. Well a lot of Tyler's baseball team is playing football so Im talking to some of the other parents about everything mainly about how hot it is inside that place.

Well this one lady right in front of us is on her cell phone and she says VERY loudly I have to go then she asks her kid Who hit you? he points and says that kid, she said who? who hit you? I mean very loud she had caused a scene by this point and a lot of parents are now watching this lady, there was a group of boys talking, laughing, being boys and she says who this one and points to a boy he said no so she then goes this one and points to Tyler and he said YES she walks over there and GRABS Tyler by the arm and says why did you hit him come with me? I immediately jump up and grab his same arm and say he is NOT going anywhere. I mean seriously everybody in this place was watching us by now, she looked at me and said he hit my son, okay Im thinking how old are we here?? And your kid is signing up to play football hitting is going to happen...

Anyway I said was it an accident I mean like I said there was only 200 people in there and boys were running everywhere she said NO it was not an accident and I said Tyler why did you hit him I mean my blood pressure was rising every second this woman was in front of me anyway he said because he grabbed my hand and pulled my fingers back she said WHAT?? Like my kid can do wrong???? NOOOOOOO OF COURSE NOT... He said it again so she told her kid to come over there and she asked him if he did it and the kid said NO well thankfully one of the dads that I was talking with spoke up and said uh yeah you did I watched you do it and she asked her kid again did you do it and he said NO so the dad said he is lying! She said did you do it and he said yes FINALLY so she made him apologize to Tyler and I told Tyler to apologize back even though he was only defending himself. And I am okay with him knocking somebody out if they mess with him first, he isnt gonna be a sissy boy like this womans kid obviously was! : )

Then she turned and walked away! A few of the parents I know came up to me and was like deep breaths Carmon deep breaths because I know my face was blood red I was so mad. You dont grab someone else's kid and make them apologize. Geez.. Anyway that was our night! : )

School

Well my Tyler man started school this week he is a big 2nd grader! It truly doesnt seem possible that he is in the 2nd grade time goes by so fast. We really like his teacher and even though he didnt have any of his friends going into his class he has already made 2 new friends so he is happy. He makes friends very easily so we werent too worried about it and he wasn't either.

Had it been me with no friends in my class I think I would have been in full blown panic mode back in the 2nd grade but I had Jenny in my class so I was good but not him he don't care. I am glad he is like that though!!

He is playing fall ball (baseball) and he is playing football so from August 23 (MollyJo's b-day) to November 15 every Saturday we have a game of some sort some weekends we will play both sports. I will be a busy mama but thats the way I like it!!
